Heeey everyone! I'm writing this post in English because Finnish feels too difficult at the moment :D I also want my South African friends understand what I'm saying! My holiday was sooo great! I just wish that it would have been longer thou. Monday morning when I had to wake up for school, I was like okay let's do this, but after first lesson I already almost fell asleep. Oh well. Only three weeks left until Cape Tour so I hope I will survive! Now I'm gonna tell what happened on my holiday. :)
I started my holidays already on Wednesday 28.9 (even though break-up day was only on Friday) because my counselor Hilary took me to Ballito to see Lara already on Thursday morning. I woke up with allergic reaction (which probably was from facial) and I was quite scared, because I haven't never been allergic to anything. My counselor picked me after 9 and we drove to Ballito. I went to see the state where Hilary is working and then finally I saw Lara. She is staying with her club-president John and his wife so I met them for the first time. They are amazing people, so caring and friendly! They house is huuuge & they have pool, jazuci, gym and three cars etc. Lara is so lucky for staying there :D
We went to gym and later to the Rotary-meeting. Lara introduced me to the club and I told something about me & Finland. After meeting we had braai and we stayed there quite late.
Friday
We ate healthy breakfast and went to the gym in the morning, which was great start for day. After that we went to Wimpy for milkshakes and I met Lara's school friends. We also went shopping to Mr. Price & Edgars and got our nais done because that night we were supposed to go to watch Miss Ballito -competition and help Rotaries by selling raffle-tickets. We watched how do you look? on tv and went to gym again. In the evening we left and went to this one fancy hotel next to ocean where competition was.

I had so much fun for watching competition and it had such a new experience! Food was great - which of course was the most important thing ;)
Saturday
I woke up to sunshine and we ate breakfast outside. It felt like summer so we went tanning and taking photos near to pool.
After few hours we went walk to the Ballito beach. It was quite windy so we didn't go swimming.
In the evening we were "babysitting" Lara's host-parents grandchild and after that we went to gym.
Sunday
I left Ballito behind and Lara came to Durban with me. We meet Caio (from Brazil), Vitor (from Brazil) and Tori (from USA) at Suncoast Casino. We were just hanging out and then went to cinema to see movie Change-up. My counselor's husband Gussie came to pick me and Lara and we went to their house for supper and we stayed there for a night.
Monday
We woke up quite early and because my home is on the same road, we walked to the there. It was raining a lot so we got really wet haha. After showering we went to Gateway, where at first we had lunch at Circus (I had the best pasta ever and banana milkshake), went to see two movies - One day and Trust and wasted our time in shops.
Tuesday
I was so happy because when I woke up because sun was shining outside and I knew that we can finally go to the beach. At first I had to go find something from Fashion fusion-store because I got R100 giftcard for winning Gladiantics on Fun Day. After that we went to the Suncoast beach.
I can't even tell you how much I love Durban beaches and Indian Ocean. It was so relaxing just lay in the sun and on that moment I actually realized how lucky I am to be there - my friends in Finland have to study at school.
After couple hours in the sun we went eat pizza to Suncoast Casino.
When we came back it wasn't that warm anymore so we decided to stay on the chairs. Lara left about 3pm back to Ballito and I went to the Lucia mall for asking about facial.
Wednesday
I went to my friend Roxanne's house for a movie night with all my friends! It was actually funny that it was called movie night because we watched only one movie - Burlesque. Chatting and just hanging out with friends was actually even better option. Only me and Carla stayed for a night.
Thursday
My host-dad came to fetch me and after that I went to my friend Ali's house. I missed her a lot and I had so many things for telling her. Casey came and we went to the Ushaka beach where I tried to tan more and I met Ali's and Casey's friends. I came home before 5pm and then we went to the Rotary-meeting.
Friday
I woke up quite late and went tanning next to pool - reading magazines and just relaxing was greaaat. I went Shannon's and Kayley's 17th b-day party and it was so nice to see all my friends because I missed them a lot!! I had such a great evening there.
Saturday
Jenna's 16th birthday party started 12pm and she was having it this beautiful park next to Gateway. There were lots of people from youth and I had a great time with all of them!
I came home after 4pm and about 5.30pm my host-dad drop me Ali's house. We went to free concert to Gateway and when I heard that Locnville (a South African Electro Hop music duo which includes identical twin brothers Andrew and Brian Chaplin) is going to play, I was sooo excited because I have wanted to see them for a long time! There were other bands before them which I didn't know.
Finally before 9 Locnville came to play.
Ali did her work experience on one place where they organize these kind of happenings and she called to this one lady and asked if we could meet Locnville. We went to see her and she gave us VIP wristbands. She said that we can meet Andrew and Brian after concert and take photos as well. Me and Ali were waiting there about hour and I already saw them coming. I was superexcited. Well then this lady came and told that they decided to go to sleep. Oh my world I was so pissed off :( Anyway, I had nice evening with Ali.
On Sunday I just relaxed at home the whole day because I had to be ready for school on next day. I had so much fun on holidays and I can't wait for summer holiday which is coming quite soon!!
